WH Boyer Landscape Services is proud to offer a One-year warranty on most plant materials. Most of our competitors offer a shorter warranty coverage period. We will provide warranty coverage for your landscape installation project we install for One year from date of completion with the option to purchase a two-year extended warranty period. This is a non-transferable warranty.

There are a few exclusions for plant materials that are not reliable enough in our climate zone. Perennials, Ornamental grasses, and groundcover plants are guaranteed for one year from completion of installation. For ground cover plants we do not cover individual plants as some loss can be expected. If any large gaps in groundcover coverage develop, we would fill in the gaps at original plant spacing. We do not guarantee transplanted plant material, sod, or grass seed installed.

During the sales process your Designer will go over the warranty and let you know what is covered.

First Year Warranty
WH BOYER LANDSCAPE SERVICES agrees to deliver and replant at no additional cost to the PURCHASER plant materials that die during the first twelve (12) months after installation. Replacement of dead plants (at no charge) will be authorized only once for each plant.

After the first year
At the time of initial contract signing, you can purchase an extended warranty to cover the second-year warranty period at additional cost. Replacement plants of larger size (to match others that may have grown), other species, or other materials may be installed subject to availability and additional charges as applicable.

EXCLUSIONS
Availability of the same size and species is not guaranteed. Transplants, Annuals, Seasonal Bulbs, and Sod are not warrantied. This warranty is void if the PURCHASER fails to pay in full for materials and services provided as per the AGREEMENT.
Notify our office by phone or through our website of plant problems. If you can attach a photograph of the dead plant or plants, then we can usually arrange the replacement without sending our Customer Service representative out to visit. If not, we will inspect to verify the condition of the plant. Once the inspection is done, we will call to schedule a date to replace the dead plant.

This warranty is effective for any new planting installation contracts signed after January 1, 2024. Plants will be warrantied per this Agreement to the extent that the landscaped property is owned by persons signing the AGREEMENT. Only plants purchased from and planted by WH BOYER LANDSCAPE SERVICES are warrantied.

Any plant material that dies must be examined by a WH BOYER LANDSCAPE SERVICES representative prior to being removed from the ground. A request for inspection can be made by phone or through the contact us page on our website. Instructions for sending photos are included on the contact us webpage.

WH BOYER LANDSCAPE SERVICES will not warranty any plant material removed from the ground prior to inspection. No claim will be considered if the WH BOYER LANDSCAPE SERVICES representative determines that the plant was not properly cared for. WH BOYER LANDSCAPE SERVICES is not responsible for the replacement of plants that die or are damaged because of lack of watering or care, extreme acts of nature, vandalism, mechanical injury, or animal damage. Refunds will not be given for warranty claims.

Hardscape Installation Projects
The warranty on Hardscape materials varies by manufacturer. We will provide the warranty information from the manufacturer for the product you have chosen for your project. Our “Boyer 6” warranty covers workmanship for 6 years on hardscape installations with 6 inches of base material. Industry standard is 4 years. Polymeric Sand joints are considered a normal maintenance item and are not covered by any warranty.

Our Masonry workmanship on natural stone patios, outdoor kitchens, and walls is covered for 6 years from date of completion. Mortar joints are considered a normal maintenance item and are not covered by any warranty.
