W.H Boyer Landscaping Services, located in Glenwood, MD is looking for a Sales Landscape Estimator. This position is on-site with a flex schedule (Office / Home) potential based on experience and the completion of the training period. You will be responsible for orchestrating individual landscape estimates and associated proposals as well as presenting proposals to our existing and new client base. Upon the successful conversion of a proposal to a contract, you become the project manager and manage the office administration of that contract through completion. Requirements:

• Three years of commercial landscape estimating experience is a plus.
• Successful track record estimating a variety of project scopes to include planting, turf, soil (on and off structure), rooftop work (requiring cranes and/or elevators)
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Professional proposal writing ability.
• Goal achieving personality.
• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform cost estimates.
• Proposal writing and delivery to clients.
• Communication with clients regarding the status of contract award
• Negotiations as required to successfully acquire contracts within established margins.
• Office project management of your contracted projects.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

• Salary plus incentive on contract work acquired
• $60,000-$90,000 based on experience

W.H Boyer Landscaping Services, located in Glenwood, MD is a 65-year-old award-winning Landscape Contractor. We are searching for an experienced Field Manager Superintendent. He/she will manage daily production of 3-5 crews ensuring maximum production levels are obtained and quality standards are achieved for each project. The Superintendent will manage all equipment material and labor necessary for each project, identifying and communicating any necessary additional work and or delays to the Production Manager(s). They will communicate with the Crew Foreman daily, as well as train and educate crew personnel on proper landscape and construction installation and safety practices.

Job Qualifications:

• 2 year minimum as Landscape Project Manager or 5 years minimum as Commercial Installation Landscape Foreman.
• Effective communication skills Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Effective Leadership, organizational and motivational skills.
• Ability to think through a problem and arrive at a effective solutions.
• Proficient knowledge of landscape layout drawings and project specifications.
• Knowledge of snow removal operations.
• Knowledge of trade equipment i.e., hydro-seeder, backhoe, mini-excavator, and loaders.
• In depth knowledge of plant material, planting procedures, hardscapes construction and other types of site work.
• Class A license CLT and CPH preferred but not mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Job Description:

• Maximize daily installation production levels on 3-5 commercial projects.
• Long term vision in regard to project sequence and schedule.
• Coordinate materials and equipment deliveries to job site to insure maximum production from installation crews.
• Attend pre-construction meetings and project review meetings.
• Daily job site inspections to ensure accuracy of installation, safety and quality control.
• Ensure project deadlines and punch work are completed timely.
• Perform inspection walk-through's with Landscape Architects, Contractors, etc.
